Sorry it has been so long since I have updated my blog with new posts.  Yes we have been busy and I was down for a few weeks healing from my surgery.( And yes I am so glad to get it all over with and my hormones are finally starting to look like the are on track, trust me it's a very good feeling)!!!!

This last past weekend we had such a great surprise, on Saturday Princess the goat had three babies, two boys and one little girl.  Their names are Rocky, Pete and Spring (since they were born on the first day of spring.)  Little spring is such a miracle, she was so little and weak but she pulled through it, poor princess on the other hand just had too many babies her first time and she died Monday afternoon, so we are now feeding the babies with a bottle until we can have them latch onto another mother goat.

On Sunday Mama goat had two very healthy babies twins a boy and a girl.  Caroline named these babies Jack and Jill and the names fit the babies so well.  These babies and their mama is doing great and they all look very healthy.

Monday night we went to feed the triplets and found a new baby in the field.  Nanny had on very healthy baby boy and Seth and I named him Forest, Grandpa thinks she still had another baby to go so we will see if we wake up to another baby from that mama or not.  We have one more goat that is due any day and then about 7 more goats that will give birth in about a month.

I can say my children have learned a lot this winter about breading and giving birth.  They seemed to really enjoy watching what little they got to see since we were always a few minutes or hours to late.

On Monday after school they had the triplets out playing and they were running after the kids and it was so cute they would hop around and run, there is nothing as cute as a baby goat.  They would suck on our chins and noses looking for some food. Here are a few pictures of the triplets that the kids took on Sunday afternoon.
